Welcome
Congratulations to all of you who have chosen to participate in this program and who are on your way to developing an understanding of the Web 2.0 tools readily available in today’s society. Each week we will send out an email, with explanations, encouragement and sites of interest. You will also have plenty of extra resources and sites to explore if you have the time or inclination.
On the side of the blogs you will find some other links, the tracking log, where you can monitor your progress during the program, and the Participants’ Blogs page, where you can find a list of the blogs being created by staff participating in the program. Here you can click on each one, to see what your colleagues have been up to. Keep tuned to this area, as it is a good place to be inspired and entertained!
Please feel free to contact us for help at any time at: learning@yprl.vic.gov.au
To begin the program, click on the underlined links below the activity heading to take you to the activities page. There, you will need to follow the steps to complete the week’s ‘thing’. Please be patient when activating each podcast. Some take up to 30 seconds to begin. There may also be some buffering interference.
With each exercise we are aware there may be access issues for many of you. Please be aware that we have tried to include alternative resources for you to explore where access has been identified as a possible problem.
